Could I have herpes 1 on my ears?

Could I have herpes 1 on my ears? My ears itch like crazy my bf has herpes I've had an on and off rash with blisters for 2 weeks, but my ears have been itchy for about 4 weeks. On and off. Sometimes they itch and little red bumps form then it goes away just to come back the next day or 3 days later. Could this just be along outbreak on my ears?
